2022.08.18, 7pm - Dot Mandala Workshop with Meraki ArtMeraki Art
Thursday 18 August 2022, 7pm
Join us for a great night out with your friends - enjoy a glass of wine and enjoy the relaxation and flow of mandala paniting.
Mandalas offer balancing visual elements, symbolise unity and harmony.
You always start from the inside (yourself, the beginning of contemplation) and work to the outside of the mandala (what you would like in the future, which represents the cyclical nature of life)
Buddhists always destroy their mandalas afterwards because it serves as a reminder of the impermanence of life. We wont be doing that but it serves as a reminder making a dot mandala is all about being in the moment whilst making it and not the outcome.
You will come home with a small mandala on canvas but more importantly you will have relaxed, focussed and have been completely in the moment.
Dot Mandalas are very mediative and can be added upon layer by layer afterwards to make more complex if you wish to do so at home.
